Hi Vitali, I lost track given several threads- were they all about the same item, such that all threaded reports from you coalesce into one OK-now? Yay if so! Things have been a little strange around the site lately.

By the way: I understand that technical support with problems is at present somewhat underdeveloped at archive.org and that resources are stretched thin. But there are a few things you could do pretty easily that would help a little.

1. Create a unified Uploading Forum, so at least people with uploading problems can funnel their queries to one place.

2. Do something about the text at http://www.archive.org/about/contact.php that currently says "When contacting the Internet Archive, please note that we do not have a technical support department. Please refer to the forums and the FAQs." -- when the same page displays a link labelled "Technical Support" on the left side of the page!!

And what happens when you click that link? It creates creates an e-mail addressed to info@archive.org with the subject heading "Technical Support".

Hmm...

Yes, thanks. Eventually the files were moved to a new server, and everything is fine now. Thanks for your help.
